Points Table question Empty Points Table question

Please forgive me in advance if I'm about to express some ignorance, but I was wondering why the points table is ADDING what appears to be phantom points from the "Dropped Points" column instead of subtracting points. Is this correct and I've just missed something? Assuming each driver will be allowed one drop, should that column not be subtracting the lowest score in the row? scratch

The dropscore system we use now is not the same as the one you might remember as that way, it always favoured someone who had missed a round.

You now get a percentage of you lowest scoring round rather than taking anything away

slight correction, you get a percentage of your average for the season
