Well other than the connection issues which were a total nightmare I had a blast tonight.

Got my first XPLR podium in race 1.

Tried a new build and tune for the soft tires in race 2 and it worked out great.  Only about a second off of my hard tire times.  Kept it straight through the whole race and ended up with a good spot for the reverse grid.

Race 3 saw a rough start for me as I dropped wheels and got freight trained pretty hard.  Fought back up and benefitted from a collision in front to sixth where I rode it out until the end.

The connections in forza 4 seem to be getting worse so I am asking everyone to do everything they can to be prepared for the best possible connection they can have.

Check your NAT settings and ensure they are open.  Restart your xbox and reboot your modem just before each qualify session.   Two drivers lost out on racing tonight due the connection issues of others.

Next week at Rd Atlanta club should be a blast.

I had 2 good races, and 1 not so good... but I can't blame anyone but myself for driving into a wall!

Can I remind EVERYONE to check their NAT settings - it is not fair if people cannot race due to not being able to connect.

Also can EVERYONE be online and ready 10/15 mins prior to qualifying, so that lobbies can be setup and connection issues resolved, don't switch on just in time for the race, and then expect to be given 5/10 mins to connect/restart - it's not fair on those who did turn up in good time and with a stable connection.

Oulton park? that was Donnington lol.

Really enjoyed the racing last night and catching up with old friends on the old xbox. I definately don't miss the connection issues. FM5...send out 16 invites at once and ALL 16 people connect.

thanks for the racing

Enjoyed racing again and had a good race 2 finishing 3rd

Race 1 I was hit by another racer who clearly thought I was there to help him brake which effectively ended my race

Race 3 a decent few laps at the beginning and was on the charge moving up the field when another driver who had went off went off in turn 1 decided it would be a good idea to re-join the track without any consideration to other racers (myself) hitting that corner at a good amount of speed which resulted in me having to pit and run the rest of the race with around 95% body damage all around

Good to be racing again but some people really need to have a look at the way they "race"
