BTCC Laptimes......

Hi guys,

Ran a few practice laps last night for BTCC round 2: Suzuka East.

Managed to get down to a 53:7...might be able to scrap an extra .1 or .2 out of it but I would be pushing it.

Will try on my soft tyre option tonight and see how I go.   

Wow Venom and i were just talking about how much of a threat you were going to be here. Damn your flying.

My best so far is a 54.745 Seems to be a secret to how you ride the curbs that I cant quite suss out yet.

I know what u mean with the curbs here,,u kinda gotta chuck it in early and let the wheel skim over the apex of the corners....tricky to get but once u get the line and the rhythm going u can get on the power sooo quickly though the s bends.

However,,we will see how the softs go,,   lol

Ran a 54.8xx with maybe 15 laps of test and tune. Could of been a lucky lap, seems to be a trend of mine when I get that close to JVanEssen

Long wheel base cars are gonna be a bit more of a struggle here BMK. We'll get up to speed eventually. That Volvo will have the speed advantage over the Subaru for sure.

Just ran about 20 laps tuning the legacy and got down to a 53.8- it's showing.3 up before last corner.I think with the 5% handicap to power I'll loose a tenth or two.

If I drop my power in build then run in test mode will that give me accurate times.

You're best off setting up a private race with the 5% power handicap in place, then saving it, and just jumping back and forth between tuning Karlos. Doesn't take up that much time when tuning.

Probably best I think the car is there. If I can get last turn tuned right then I will be fine. It's going to get mulled down straights by anything anyway. Lol

Ran a few in private lobby and lost nearly . 5 of a second wth.I know with last corner.I can run flat 54

Nice Karlos. Best I've found so far is a 54.2. I can't decide if I want to over slow the last corner and gun it out or try and carry as much as possible. So far both feel awkward and yield the same lap time.

All i need is to find the right line the sweet spot and ill be in the 53s and a few tiny tweejs to setup and i could be in for a good finnish this time lol...

I'm off work next week so I'll be running a few practice sessions to try and improve my tune. Don't think it was fast enough last race lol

ran in testing 53.9 in Scooby going to tweak from there see if there more time to be found.

Ran to a 53.6. In the legacy before handicap.so probably a 54 flat.

Anyone done anything on softs?

Soft was a 55.5 haven't ran with new tune yet thoigh

Practice session at Silverstone this morning was good.

I was slowest with a 1:01.2 quickest was 1 1:00.4

Should be tight racing again.

Helping rui with tunes, got down to a 1.01.6 in the forte

I'll add I'm absolute poop in fwd

Forte is a testing car so I'll give it a run and see where I'm at.

I've got a pretty decent forte tune on storefront I think.
