The crouching car hidden dragon team has made a slight adjustment to the car and now we've lost it to the 13th century.

Re: Tarmac Terrors - Laptimes
Finally got into the 57's last night,,only a 57:9 but progress again!!
Am really looking forward to this round,,i know a few don't like the short track but I think its a corking wee track,,true say its a block pass track and a half but its all about being smooth and carrying speed.
If someone gets a break at the front they will be off I fear but the pack fight will be epic!!

Not shore whether to set gear ratios to change at max torque and less bhp or build a close ratio sceemer gearbox. Skyline aint got the best torque and through the the fast right onto straight, big torque will keep will b the thing u need. 05 scooby!! Skyline better on the full circuit. Looking for top ten, again!!

Re: Tarmac Terrors - Laptimes
lol,,the joys to mobile communication!!
I have went for a fairly short box,,i think its more down to pref and how u hussle the car round as to which is best. I tend to try and carry corner speed,,brake a little earlier and hammer through using the box quickly in the process,,hence why the short works best for me, but if I get it wrong it does unsettle the car loads, where as the longer torque setup the car is a little more balanced, but if you lose too much momentum it takes an age to wind back up again.
Sod it,,am running an auto box
