Re: Series Liveries
First, I would like to apologise for posting links rather than img's. For some reason it was only showing half of the pic.
As I like doing race replica's, retro ones in particular, I searched for some images from the 80's. The vast majority of Quattro's had either the white livery with red/black/grey stripe, yellow and white livery, or a mixture of the two (there were plenty on the SF that even had my race #). Seeing as StoneDef had already done a good example (nice job), I thought I'd blatantly rip off a different car's colours altogether.
I may have chosen the same as DruggedUpDonkey but, luckily, I had just done a simple Gulf-Porsche for a series that I started just last week...
So, what I decided to go for was a Manta (my auntie had one of these when I was a kid, great car) in Rothman's colours.
I'm not 100% happy with the front and back yet, might add a few extra details as well, so it's not on my SF yet. Should be by the time the series starts though.

nice livery... if you sign up for a flickr account (free) you can host forum friendly sized images
also you will need to use the XPLR numberboards, numberplates etc

Thanks. The pics are in the FM gallery and usually work OK (in fact, the Porsche one posted fine last week) as long as they're in the "normal" format? I may have a setting wrong or something, but I've been meaning to get something like flickr anyway.
I didn't know about the #boards/plates, where can I get hold of them?

Re: Series Liveries
Here is my Audi for this event. I know its not very retro, but i like it. Ranger had again been kind enough to gift me a very nice livery, but someone in the series(i think it was StoneDef) had already posted he intended to use that same paint, so had to knock something together myself.
Thank you regardless Ranger , ur a gent as ever.

This paint i also have to thank andy for, as its from a layer set he sent me a while back.
Am looking forward to this tonight. Hotlapping the track is one thing, where you can just focus on being smooth to get the best out the car, but in a pack its gonna be tricky. Once you come offline with these motors the amount of time you lose is huge, so cock-ups a plenty are gonna happen, giving loads of opp`s for overtaking in some very odd places,,lol
