BTCC Round 3 - Hockeinheim National Circuit - Race Discussion
I had a lot of fun on this one, as i could finally race properly without having to worry about lag, and as such i stayed on the back (litterally) of maneatingbrick throughout the duration of race one. Race two was equally fun, everyone was in good spirits and it showed in the racing, so thanks for the race tonight lads. Results already sent to Andy so he can add it to the spreadsheets. any penalties from the pits will be given out tonight!
Hope you enjoyed it

I'd like to say congratulations to everyone in the pit stop phase, even though a few hit the wall no one did anything worth penelising. I guessed it was because we're all gunna die on friday so it was something everyone wanted to try.
Merry christmas!

Race one was quite pleasent, driving around with my teamate watching Wee and Mad Dog rage war. Well i say pleasent but i had to push quite hard to keep him behind me.
Race two was chaotic in a good way, got myself in the middle of a load of action. Kudos to speedy for a completely crazy but nice overtake on me during the two corners before the start straight, best overtake ive seen all season.

Nightmere is prob the simplest thing i can say.
The wifes ways had the telly on sat so only managed one race meet before tonight. I was terrible i ran my tune from rnd one and it waz such a bad tune i somhow ran a low 36 but if i am honest it just didnt work. Got myself up to 7th from 10th in first couple of corners but after that just fell back and finished 9th.
Race two great start got myself 250feet ahead by end of lap one but again just fell back had asmall it with speedy sent me onto infield and ended my race but me being me finished race. Still enjoyed it though hated HATED my poor tune though

Re: BTCC Round 3 - Hockeinheim National Circuit - Race Discussion
Race 1 was rather uneventful, mostly tracking the pack in front of me and hotlapping waiting for R2 as I was going to start up front.
Race 2 started off rather laggy, as I lost spot after spot avoiding collisions that weren't there. Then once the lag cleared, I was at th etail by quite a margin. Was doing fine, just running consistent laps trying to reel in the Lumpi Maneatingbrick battle until pits, after which I had an odd reoccurring lock up issue that let Speedy catch me from a long ways back.
That being said, I have never been a huge Hockenheim fan, so I am happy to have survived, and am looking forward to the next round at my closest track.

Race 1 for me was one of the best yet. Me and mad dog had one epic battle for around 7 laps. I managed to cross the line only 8ft ahead. Nice one mad dog.
Race 2...I'd rather forget. Lap 1 turn 2. My brakes locked up and just clipped mad dog. Slightly. But then a few laps later, got caught out at turn 1 behind MEB and speedy. 100 percent damage all around. I did have a good battle with dubmat after that.
A good and bad night for me.
