BTCC Laptimes......

gave my Scooby a run today with my Suzuka tune which sucks at Silverstone and ran a 1:00.9 but I know it will go faster if I tweak if to suit the track.

That's only twotenths faster than me so I would say u got two or three more tenths to find.

Hopefully took me a decade to get Suzuka working I guess I need to fiddle a tune from some where lol.

Im still stuck at 1:00 flat can't get it to go any quicker.

John if you are running a minute flat then your on pole lol. I can't get the civic to go faster than 01.6 xx but that's only if venom teammate don't register.

Been testing the civic a bit more with my own tune and got down to a 1.00.878. Constantly flat 1's scary to think what venom might do. As for the legacy needs more power or tongue. Gets squashed down straights and corners by natural fwd. Maybe move to 25% to front to make it a little more competitive.

Or even move it to the rear and make it another rwd car.

To be honest the Suburu will be fine I think just need to find the sweet sport on the tune and it will go fine.

Ran a 1.00.250 in legacy with no power restriction. Guessing .4 to .5 which is what I'm running in civic. I think it's perfect. Real question is what is mad Dog running in subaru.

1.00.458 in 10 laps is your answer. Probably get some more out of it when I figure out how to drive it

1:00.585 after 10 laps in the Subaru it's dancing in a good direction at least lol.

I haven't finished making it dance yet as it was a bodge job for testing purposes I need to do more first. But my tunes aren't the easiest to drive at times and I'm fairly average as well.

what am i doing wrong in the audi then because im struggling to hit 1:02.5xx and like.. i was in the mix at maple...

im sure its a combination of me not being able to grasp silverstone (its poopie irl anyways ;p) and the audi is genuinely very slow in my eyes. I jumped in it because i didnt want to deal with FWD, but now that im getting into the side by sides with my own ghost i can see its doodee. High lateral G's or not, my focus is better in the corner understeer and all. We'll see what happens as the race gets closer. If nothing drastically clicks for me ill scratch the track and see how the car is at the next track.

Ill do some runs in the audi in this morning. Nothing has changed from on it from Maple and it was fully on the pace there.

I have tryed all the cars and I'm no dummy at tuning/building cars but boy the vauxhall sucks lol, the only way I got it near the times of the others was without the 5% power loss so I'm just asking is it worth helping the vxr a little and not giving it the 5% power loss ? Just a thought

Yeah Ranger if you look at the green print next to each car you will see BTCC1 BTCC2 etc. The Vauxhall is infact a BTCC1 car which means no 5% handicap. It also uses full tire width.
