True that. I just feel the lotus angle has been beaten to death already by every site out there. Would much prefer something new to play with

And there was me thinking 'Lambourgini Vs Ferrari Vs Pagini( if poss) and any other Italian supercar. (might've given a too bigger hint to what i'm thinking of for my next comp lol)

Ive built an old skool MR2 which has street/sport upgrades so you can only tune tyres and brakes i think. I'll send you 2 the builds later if you want and see what ya think

We'll keep this suggestions thread open for future ideas, but I'm 99.9% certain that the first season of the XPLR stock series will be the Audi Quattro

think the evora would be different do the others quite a bit

I was thinking of about running a 'Stock' series season in the Evora type 124 endurance car. It's a great car to drive standard even without tuning, and would be a great car to race... Plus I've already done a livery for it... And I've done liveries for 4 or 5 other potential cars to be run in the stock series ....

there has actually been one online site that did run a ferrari comp cos i was the CO of it lol, 1st season we ran the 360CS and the next we ran the F40 was alot of fun

We ran an Evora Series a few months back on VTCC, nice simple straight forward car with no issues, especially for the high reaches of S Class!!

That's why I think it'd be a brilliant car to race as stock. It's fast and handles great, but easy enough to race without any assists (which is how the stock series will hopefully be run )

You say no assists tom,but could I run the brake sensitivity down?? As I have thick mittens for hands that habe been out in the cold for six hours..

There will be no tuning allowed matey, not even tyre pressure can be adjusted when lobby is set to 'force stock upgrades/tuning'.

That's the whole point of this series, a complete back-to-basics championship. Might not force off all assists, but most of the cars won't need any! I/we aim to make absolutely everyone 100% even, everyone using identical cars (well, different paint jobs are allowed )

Well I have selected 5 cars to be used so far, first one has already been mentioned (Audi Quattro), so that's a B class 4wd car which is very easy to drive without assists...

Other cars are FWD ('10 Mugen Civic), RWD (Nissan 370z), slightly faster/trickier RWD (Ferrari F355 Challenge), and an even faster RWD (Lotus Evora T124).

Each car will make up a 'season' of the XPLR stock series, with each season being just 5 rounds so the interest should be kept pretty high. If loads of people request lower class cars then they can be included too at a later date. As can some faster cars, Mazda Furai for example
