Pit Entries Empty Pit Entries

Post by AndyT306 Mon Oct 22, 2012 11:54 am

Recently there have been a number of pit entry inquiries, which led to me sending a general warning over on the old forum.

Over the weekend to make things clearer I have documented the majority of pit/entry exits so that it is in black and white for members to understand.

However these examples are reflective of the current rules, which were recently changed without full communication to the members.

The admin team apologise for this, and understand that there may now be a lack of understanding of which ruling we are following.

Concern has been raised that following the full pit entry could be dangerous due to the amount of speed you need to scrub off at certain tracks in order to make the pit entry without crossing any of the pit entry lines

It has been suggested that the ruling is changed to allow pit entry lines to be crossed provided at least 2 tyres are still within the pit entry

We would like the members to vote on this, so that the rule reflects what the members deem to be correct and/or fair

This will run until noon tomorrow, and then a decision can be made before the BMW race

If anyone has not voted and wishes to, please do so
