TORA VLN - 17th November

Hey Cappie... have you knocked about the Nordschleffe in the Bimmer yet? I did a couple recon laps in it and it feels quite nice.

Yes I have, seems to under steer for me and skips out alot. However the car has punch, once I have tuned it up to my driving style should be ok. I did a slow 8:10 in it but I know it can be quicker. But it's the green hell so it may go in my favour as that I have done ten consecutive laps and they have been the same time. I hope I ain't too slow for you.

No problem. I haven't been much quicker than that myself. No matter what car I have tried, I am in the 8:0somethings. I am hoping for consistently average laps.

I have a Lambo tune to try out, I want to give that a go before committing either way. And if I get the time, there's the Jag XKR-S and Aston Zagato that I wouldn't mind trying on the 'Ring.

I am a huge Porsche fan, but I have never liked them on any track that is less than smooth as glass. And neither Nurb circuit really seems to suit their rear engine layout, at least as translated to Forza.

Mmmmm Lamborghini sounds good. The jag on the other hand I had a go in it just doesn't grip it is horrid. But if you have a build for the Lamborghini chuck it over I'll have a play.

I'd be all over the V12 Vantage if they hadn't neutered it with the PI reduction.

the labo in SP2 got dropped back several PI cos it was too quick :s i'd still drive it, i love that car, and would anyone be intersted in running a replica (very close) to the Hexis McLarens in the GT1 world championship? its on the SP2 lambo and works really well i think (i'll have a photo in the morning)

Italia, its your Lambo I was using... how bad did they nerf it?

thats the spec they are now usuing, it was 675, i had a build for that, then they dropped it to 660 (dunno why) and thats the tune i sent you

and could you (when you get the chance) improve that tune and send it back? the one i sent is very average and no where near as fast as your tunes

is our decison the same as on XBL mikey? BMW or V12 Vantage for VLN and (classified) for the 8 hrs?

Unsure... I'd really like to use the secret weapon in both events just to keep it from the opposition

Enter three of them as a team effort tomorrow, which would fill the quota, the fill the empty stints as we can. I've been around Hailfire and mopar too long

Just need to settle on one car so that i can start practicing fully. As I am getting flustered with different cars and making bad mistakes.

On the up note tho I am looking forward to race on the "GREEN HELL"

i am too, it takes so long to tune for it and to do a lap, but its still a great track, i'm so keen for it

I'm gonna pull the trigger and sign us up as a 3 car team in the #####s. It will show each of us as a single driver w/ TBA as codriver. Then once we figure out italia's codriver and fill the 3rd car I'll move Cappie into my codriver slot.

Its actually a lot less complicated than it sounds. And I know how much TORA LOVES driver changes

yeah i'll be on, no idea on car lexus lfa is a sinch to drive, and with 8 hours of concentration might be a safe bet

the V12 vantage is pretty good, or lambo, but lambo is a lil slower, but great handling, could be very quick with a quick tune

problem theere chief, Allied Forces 1 (you) and 2 (myself) got the Zagato, 3 (Cappie) got the BMW, Ian (i think it was) notified me that there was 2 car cap for this race so people try a majority of cars so cappie had to 'settle' with the BMW, unless he wants to change to a different car and then if there are 3 car max for the full N8, then all 3 of us could have 1 each.
