I would but I've decided that I'm going to stick with the same team and car that I ran at Sebring(lambo). Don't want to lose the points.

NEEDS DRIVERS
The problem with ALL Brit drivers is the extremely late/early hours. Wouldn't it be best to have at least one U.S based driver in the line up? (If we can find one)

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
XPR & Aces Wild teamed up to test ahead of the 24h race at the end of this month but all did not go to plan...
At first the cars were suffering with not front end grip.
And then the lack of downforce really showed as both teams finding 'different' lines through the first chicane on the mulsanne straight.
After a few tweaks the cars were then suffering with too much front end downforce.
All in all a very unproductive session for both teams

Andy... why the goose egg for stint 10? You guys were flying.
Gregbie... I was happy to see you in my lobby. Too bad we never had the same stint. But I spent most of the time battling your Ferrari.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
Morning Mikey,
Yeah,, I have to admit that I very much enjoyed Le Mans. Not a fav track of mines as we went into it but I feel as if I have really bonded with that track now.
I think it was Fluf of Relic of a name close to that was representing your team when I was in the lobby,,,quick guy
What happened with Bandit chief? I take it he got way over stressed and rage quit due to the hassles? if so a shame as it was not his fault the lobby was held up, but I understand him feeling the pressure.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
And how did the rest of us get on over the 24hr event? my team managed to put a 6th position in class, which if am honest am chuffed to bits with. If it were not for an incident or two I really feel we might have squeezed a podium out of it, but regardless,, still happy where we ended.

lagged out after 68 miles, about 4 of us did, fucked off is an understatement
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
Kind of gutted with how it ended up for my team, we still bagged a 9th in class after losing an hour of running due to a lag out. It was really hard for me to get my head round of starting at the back of a lobby after starting at the front for the first stint and not getting in the car for 10 hours after that. It's nobody's fault in the M&M racing team we really put a good performance in just my roll on stint 7 lap 3 has really left a bitter taste in mouth. :/
Well done to the 2 XPR teams that didn't suffer as much as the other XPR ferrari in GT taking 5th & 6th in GT. With the XPR Audi R18 taking 7th in LMP after losing an hour also. That is some good going lads!

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
cheers Dog,, my usual plan of just staying on track and out of trouble paid off this time
Have to be honest though and say that I think I stayed out of trouble because when in the lobby before hand I spoke to ALL my lobby members to remind them of the best way to overtake me in my GT class in relation to the speed of the LMP was to COMMUNICATE!! lol ,,told em I was more than happy to give way to them, as long as they showed patience if they came upon me at a bad place and instead of trying to belt through,,just chill out and wait till the dangerous moment is over for both our sakes,,lol. Seems to have worked as we have very little incidents due to crashes between classes in my lobbies. Was quite good chat too,,not too excessive but just timed right to keep the room entertained,,
I went into this hating Le Mans as a circuit,,,truth be told I kinda love it now,,weird,,lol

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans
Fluffy was our star driver leading up to the race... but after an early lag out he backed out for the remainder of the race. So I found a last minute replacement in our newest Ax4x rookie team member paul299 who had a solid final stint.
Bandit's Stint 2 quit was due to not knowing he was to host, but I calmed him down and he ended up running his 3 stints, inc one that Fluffy abandoned.
In the end, we soldiered on despite losing most of stint 2 to finish solidly midpack in 15th according to the FFM page.
