To be in the championship you needed at least 15 rated races and have to be among the top 64 ranked drivers. To be in the amateur section you needed only 7 rated races, but ranked no higher than 240th.

BTW, I'm not sure, but could you also be "A Mad Dog" ? If so, you are in lobby 1

Okay then, you should be happy to know that you are in fact the #1 driver in lobby 1 in the pro section for the September Championship. You are the highest rated driver at 2392 with the minimum required number of rated races to be eligible. (15) XBR Eggy is right behind you in 2nd.

So which is your actual gamer tag?

Total prize money is set at $300.00

Official World Championship Lobby Assignments Empty IFCA Forza League World Championship Notables

Post by AAR GTDon Thu Sep 05, 2013 4:58 pm

IFCA Forza League World Championship Notables
If you are listed in a championship first round lobby but weren’t mentioned, take no offence, it’s just that I don’t know you and could not make comment.

Lobby 4
DJProfessorK72, rating 2166, 19 rated races, a long time veteran of SimRacers and probably slightly under rated.
UNR DrFujimi, rating 2194, 24 rated races, also from SimRacers league, he is under rated and one to watch for.
dc67, rating 2195, 36 rated races, a long time veteran of the IFCA, and recently most improved racer.
UNR NVME, rating 2196, 15 rated races, from the SimRacers league and under rated, he is a dangerous contender.
ChedOCide Zilla, rating 2198, 31 rated races, from the Forza Sports Car Series league and our top rated Expert in the field.
ALL MAX RPM, rating 2206, 29 rated races, a Forza veteran with the IFCA and master painter. Very sharp when on his game.
SirKane2, rating 2207, 43 rated races, long time veteran, club leader, and IFCA competitor. If he gets his practice in can be very fast.
joeicemancool, rating 2210, 29 rated races, under rated, should be in lobby 1 or 2, very fast and always a threat in any race.
ROSCOEpCOTRAIN, rating 2215, 54 rated races, the working mans racer from the FSCS.
Raceboy77, rating 2215, 45 rated races, FSCS reigning champion, under rated, should be in lobby 1 or 2.

Lobby 3
The Posimosh, rating 2216, 89 rated races, an IFCA regular, very crafty racer, unpredictable, but he will need his “A game” this time.
BAR Nelly75, rating 2216, 40 rated races, IFCA veteran and VM competitor. Dedicated, clean sim racer from the UK.
UNR slp1363, rating 2227, 22 rated races, under rated from the SimRacers league.
hiredgun308, rating 2227, 44 rated races, steady competitor from FSCS.
SimR Tartarus42, rating 2228, 20 rated races, one of the anchors at SimRacers with loads of experience. If he gets his laps in, as fast as any.
AAR ABEnstein, rating 2238, 37 rated races, Admin and long time competitor for the IFCA, and TORA Champion, one of the youngest drivers if not the youngest, but a veteran nonetheless.
Ferguson77, rating 2239, 29 rated races, IFCA regular and clean racer.
TYA Stig 50, rating 2241, 40 rated races, leader of TYA racing league, fast, and fun, but risky.
KickRocks29, rating 2242, 74 rated races, IFCA veteran from the iRUF club with many victories to his credit, able to run clean with the best.
Dr Dekes, rating 2243, 21 rated races, out of the SimRacers league, and possibly under rated.

Lobby 2
Manuel CR, rating 2244, 29 rated races, a relative new comer to the IFCA, but perhaps the fastest Spanish speaking driver in the event. Clean and fast.
EZT Gambit, rating 2247, 18 rated races, very under rated, should be in lobby 1, a FSCS veteran.
TfR Milton and TfR Bailey, both rated 2248, with 32 and 19 rated races respectively. Coming from the FMUK league these guys know how to win.
Matthnt, rating 2248, 39 rated races, one of the top racers at FSCS, should do well if he practices.
ItsJustBe, rating 2249, 41 rated races, IFCA veteran, slightly under rated, dedicated racer. Watch for him to make a move and reach the second round.
Dude xxxxxxxx, rating 2251, 26 rated races, IFCA under achiever, hard to tell who will show up, the fast dude, or just dude.
Gnashty Nate, rating 2253, 64 rated races, over achiever and terribly fast when on his game.
MadMac10, rating 2253, 61 rated races, from the TYA league, quiet, clean racer, who can be very consistent.
Inviseco, rating 2255, 27 rated races, leader of SimRacers, IFCA Champion, been here since the stone age of FM1, and very under rated. Should be in lobby 1 no question.
AAR Oneshot, rating 2265, 34 rated races, master tuner, IFCA Champion, oval expert, faster now than he has ever been.
AAR GTDon, rating 2268, 134 rated races, IFCA Founder, veteran sim-racer, only competitor to compete in nearly every associated league in 2013, (TYA, FSCS, IFCA, FMUK, iRUF, DMR, SimRacers, VM), numerous championships to his credit, AAR club leader, co-Author of the FM3 Official Game Guide by Microsoft, and more runner up victories in the old FWC (Forza World Championship) than all other competitors combined. And host sponsor of this Championship, nuff said.
DMR Kryptonic, rating 2272, 92 rated races, leader of the DMR league, consistently very fast, always a threat to win.
PredatorUSMC, rating 2272, 50 rated races, leader of the FSCS league, with a real racing background “Pred” knows his way around the track.

Lobby 1
oX FASTLANE Xo, rating 2272, 32 rated races, the one racer that is always being underestimated it seems.
EZT AXE, rating 2273, 16 rated races, more of an oval racer, so we shall see how he does on the road courses.
DTM Sn1p3r, rating 2279, 16 rated races, although not a prolific racer from FSCS, he is fast.
RODMASTERR, rating 2281, 50 rated races, an IFCA perennial favorite who has steadily increased his speed throughout the year.
MTBVator, rating 2284, 48 rated races, a onetime IFCA also-ran until he switched to a wheel, he now regularly competes at the front of every race.
a hairy cahuney, rating 2285, 37 rated races, a steady bulwark driver for the FSCS able to turn fast laps at will.
kamikaze1414, rating 2287, 19 rated races, a bit of a surprise contender from the FSCS league.
DMR W Sparks, rating 2288, 23 rated races, also another surprise contender but from the DMR league.
xPOPEYE 91x, rating 2289, 30 rated races, under rated, serious speed and talent here, if he shows up.
CitizenS0ldier3, rating 2310, 25 rated races, some might say this FSCS driver is over rated, but that’s from people who didn’t make it into lobby 1.
TfR SpinyAnteater, rating 2316, 25 rated races, a true gentleman racer of the sport, but make no mistake, this FMUK driver has great speed.
TfR Stonedef , rating 2320, 24 rated races, another deadly fast FMUK driver to watch for.
TfR Guru, rating 2329, 18 rated races, as with all the other fast FMUK guys Guru can flat out get it done on the track. Don’t expect any room from this guy.
PoTthed, rating 2341, 18 rated races, SimRacers #1 driver and winner of many championships, a true sim-racing prodigy who is very under rated, and is favored by many to win the whole damn thing.

Bye round for the top 3 rated drivers
SP33D RAC3R 28x, rating 2368, 24 rated races, very under rated from the iRUF league and long time IFCA racer, a stock tune expert with numerous FWC titles, and victories on every level of sim-racing including national wins. A racer in real life as well, SP33D is well known in the Forza world for being among the very fastest to ever race the game. Look for him to be in the final.

XPR Eggy, rating 2368, 15 rated races, from the XPLR league as well as VM and others, Eggy is right up there with the best, and is probably a little under rated.

XPR Mad Dog, rating 2392, 15 rated races, another super fast driver from the XPLR league and our highest rated regular season racer for the year. Like Eggy, he will no doubt be in the final if nothing bad happens.

Our condolences to our defending Forza IFCA World Champion from last year who cannot make it this year. F4H Diablo rated at 2335 for the year will not be able to compete due to school. He was a great champion with astounding speed, having numerous victories in the IFCA, SimRacers, VM, and wherever else he raced. He will be missed.

Good luck to all the first round finalist and see you at the track (Sebring full) on Saturday September 28th 1:00pm EST.

Post by AAR GTDon Tue Sep 10, 2013 2:06 pm

On a somewhat related note, many people have asked why only 2 tracks and why only 4 cars, and why DLC, and why the F-Class car in round 1?

In a normal championship of any kind usually there is only 1 race with 1 car at 1 track. In our world championship, there are many champions from many classes and tracks, from ovals to road courses, from F class to R1. So the question obviously becomes which track and class is going to be the most fair representation to allow drivers to compete equally in?

The answer we came up with was to use 2 familiar tracks that have good passing opportunities, and to have 4 classes of cars represented for each of the 4 elimination rounds starting with the slowest in round 1, to the fastest cars for the final.

Some have asked why only 2 tracks then, why not 4? We thought it would be less tedious and confusing for the drivers if we only used 2 tracks. That way they would only have to practice for 2 tracks. In the end only 8 drivers will actually race at both tracks and with all 4 cars anyway.

The class of cars we picked represent the range of Forza 4 cars, going from stock, to spec, to production racer, to racer. We didn't want those experts from a single class or type of build to have an advantage is the point. In this way all types of cars are relatively represented as best we can so that no single racer has a advantage.

Lastly, the use of 2 DCL cars was also for the sake of greatest equality. We wanted cars that people were not familiar with both to make it more interesting, and more fair. We didn't want to use leader board cars for example because some drivers might have enormous experience with them. We knew that using some DLC cars would be an issue for some, but the minor cost served to weed out the wanna be's and also-rans. To be a true Forza World Champion we felt that you also have to be a fan of the game and that you would have no problem getting the cars if you didn't already have them.

I hope this sheds some light on track and car choice for the championship.

Good luck to everyone come Sept 28th 1:00pm EST!

Due to a surprisingly low turnout to collect the $150.00 grand prize, the “2013 IFCA Forza League World Championship” will be truncated or shortened to just one more round to crown a new champion.

Because of the shortened time frame and “difficulty” in obtaining the two DLC cars of the event, the final race of the season will be the 3rd round A600 2005 Ford GT at its intended track, Sunset P. Reverse, home track of the IFCA. The car build is on AAR GTDon’s storefront.

The Championship final will be 25laps, with 1 mandatory pit stop between lap 5 and lap 20 @ Sunset P. Reverse. Qualifying will be 5 laps just prior to the race to set the grid.
The day and time of the final race will be Saturday October 5th @ 1:00 EST, and AAR GTDon will be on hand to coordinate the start.

Official results will not be published until a review of the entire replay is made to check for legal liveries and violations of the “rules of the road.” Every car must have the IFCA URL on two sides, the IFCA # plate with their actual IFCA #, and a Domino’s Pizza logo on two sides to be legal.

The lucky 13 finalists are as follows in order of their current IFCA ratings:

Driver Rating
1 TG Haydo 2392
2 XPR Eggy 2368
3 SP33D RAC3R 28x 2368
4 Inviseco 2306
5 TfR SpinyAnteater 2295
6 MTBVator 2277
7 hiredgun308 2274
8 PredatorUSMC 2272
9 oX FASTLANE Xo 2270
10 AAR Oneshot 2265
11 Manuel CR 2263
12 AAR ABEnstein 2235
13 ChedOCide Zilla 2211

Will do, just send any of your race results to be rated to the FLR guys at ForzaLeagueRacers@yahoo.com to get your guys eligible.

the new rounds of series are just about to get underway, and I will be sure to pass em over Dan.

Just wondering though, we are planning on running both FM4 and FM5 comps very soon, does that effect how your ratings work at all? should it be one or the other only etc?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

Greg Cool
On their site at http://www.forzaleagueracers.com/ratings-info.html it says, "Those who currently have an IFCA rating with Forza 4 will automatically be upgraded to the new FLR scale which is a 200 point increase. There will be no need to have separate ratings for Forza 5 drivers. Your Forza 4 rating is perfectly transferable. Although FM5 will be different, with a few exceptions, the skill level of the drivers remains about the same game to game."

So I think the answer is no, it doesn't matter since the fast guys tend to be the same fast guys every version of the game. Whether people use FM4 or 5, it will be the same rating/ranking.
