Forza 5,,i wish,,lol,,,hmm,,well infact ,,,,,do I?

It looks like the Fanatec will not be supported with the new console, which is gonna end my Forza days I fear.

Thrustmaster have been suggested the new firm who will make the wheels for the Xbox One, but there is no way I can afford to replace the console, wheels and pedals at the same time, and truth be told if Microsoft don't support the Fanatec wheels with the new platform the bitter taste it will leave with me as a consumer will taint all the time I have had and its merit so far with the 360 and as a result I will never buy one of their machines again.

I have heard that the PS4 will support the fanatic wheel, through USB, which might turn my head to that instead of a PC platform but the new games would have to be something special for me to do so. Kinda feel as if maybe its time ot go the full blown sim route anyways.

And if I get a PC I can get three screens!!! Twisted Evil

I know new graphics cards come out etc,,but the platforms are waaayy better than every 18 months bruv,,lol. I would say every 2-3 years upgrade a few bits and bobs,,but that the beauty of it,,u can upgrade a few bits and bobs,,,ur not stuck waiting for the 6 year cycle of consoles to come round that way and as such ur always more up to date with the potential of the new hardware.

For me it all hangs on if my wheel works,,,if it does with the XBone then am in,,otherwise am off,,lol

Glad to see you aint gonna bend over for MicroShaft Greg, im in the same boat.
No way can i afford to buy an Xbox 1, a weatherless Forza 5, plus a new headset (Xbox 1 does NOT come bundled with one, they expect people to use the spycam for game chat!).
I heard the PS4 will work with current wheels/headphones etc... the differing ways these two treat their customers is astounding and im turning into a bit of a Sony fanboy at the mo(anyone seen the free games they are giving away?)
Shame about the pad tho...

Yuuup, Microsoft are a bunch of dicks if they think everyone is gonna go to the new console. about £130 too expensive in my opinion and then when you couple it with the fact you cannot use any of your old games on it then it........well...........it effin stinks

Staying with the 360 myself for a bit and then possibly get the ps4, i'll wait and see how much the prices drop in a year or so

If they support Fanatec wheels I will still likely get one,,but the more am reading the more I want a PC. My heart has been set on a multi monitor setup ever since seeing one in action a year or so back and for racing, which if am honest is the only gaming I really do nowadays the leagues seem quite slick and taken very seriously by those who take part.

I love consoles coz they are just less stress, but am getting fedup of Microsoft connection pish and the total lack of decent racing barr league stuff (public lobby racing is just a stress on xbox and due to the extra cost of getting the kit, paying the fees and all else, there is waay less chance of racing dirty racers, plus if am honest some of the league racing we have all taken part in leaves a lot to the imagination as far as race craft goes), hence am thinking its maybe time to jump ship.

I would miss all the social side of xbl,,,so might end up getting the XBoner once the price comes down,,as it will after xmas for sure.
