Post by neilracing07 Sat Mar 02, 2013 11:36 am

first impresion.
first drive with the new set-up and pushed the clutch to stop not the brake. Result = tyre wall.
the brake pedal is sublime, so much feel with the adjustable snizzle on the pedal, now i can see how u can run 180% brake. It never locks up as the feel in so real it untrue.
The wheel afeter adjustment is much more refined and a class act, not any fast than the 360 wheel but in time i will be. Its worth the dough, the pedals are the best buy ever, love them.
Very Happy over the moon.

Neil, I was going to say you'd be unstoppable but with the new brakes I doubt that! Good to hear you've got them up and running though mate!

I NOW USE THIS SETTING FOR ALL CARS AND CLASSES.
BEST SO FAR, HELPS WITH THE REAR WHEEL DRIVE CARS BUT WORKS WELL ACROSS THE BOARD.

rubber has started to come away from the wheel. I blame the BMW 1M in the tcc, bad ass tank slappers.

i'd turn your FF down to 0 and sho down to 30...

you still get feedback, but the wheel won't fight you - and then you won't beat the wheel up Wink

I still run with 270 degree,,FF up to 100% and adjusted in the game settings, ACL on and with everything else its set to off or 0%. Turned all my deadzones to 0-100 respectively and I love it......I tried ur setting and just could not get on with em,,,I found the wheel to be "slappy" if that makes sense. I found u were fighting the wheel more than driving,,but it might be just me as I have always done the 270 setup.

Shit that the rubbers coming off though,,mines is a little loose but thankfully still holding.

my setting doesnt work with 260 degree, No its slappy big time. I may try turning it all down and giving that setting a go but 440 degree turns the wheel the same as the forza in game wheel in cockpit mode. Each to there own i suppose, im going to try back to back with my xbox wheel as i dont think it makes me any quicker, pedals (Love the pedals) and quick shift clutch are the only benefit but not two seconds a lap better. same here

don't turn it down in game, or you can actually loose some minor feedbacks (from what i've read) - keep it 100% in game and 30% on wheel

I have read the opposite. I have mines 100% on the wheel and at 70% in the game.

Truth be told I think its more down to pref rather than whats best. It might be worth while sticking the question up on a few sites to get more setting feedback, but I fear with that also we are just gonna get a 100 different prefs again. Rolling Eyes

are we all on the same firmware still? am on 756.

your spot on, individual pref is a lot to do with it. I tried 4-5 different settings from a fanatec forum and i couldn't get on with any. dont know what fireware or how to tell what firmware im using. No I drive rear wheel drive a lot, bmw in tora tcc so that may make a difference with the settings. Im fine with FWD just found my setting is best with RWD car, need the 420 degree other wise i over compromise on a lesser degree. I use 600 degree when i use R1-R2 cars. Very grey area indeed! Suspect
