My Racing Simulator
Heres a shot of what I race on when my daughter isnt in bed
I've added more pics on photobucket "click here" and will add more when theres more work done
If anyone has any ideas on how it could be better (excluding the obvious upgraded driver) I'd give it a try

AndyT306 wrote:that's cool! and an interesting budget way of inverting the pedals, nice
Cheers
And the inversion does make it feel a lot better
just need to finish the dash and give it some paint so I'm nearly there

Well...it's very nice. I use a cockpit too but mine's bought and not as nice as yours.

Re: My Racing Simulator
Thanks
Which one do you use?
It was origionally just the metal frame for the playseat but it was really wobbly and having a post between your legs was really annoying.
Starting an out of hours job soon so gonna have days off during the week so while i'm kid free I might finish it.
I built a working dashboard for it too it only works on pc but was fun to build.
Theres a vid of it on youtube so I can get you a link of you want

Yeah...I checked out your other pictures. The dash looks sweet. I have the playseat also.

Re: My Racing Simulator
Ah.
Well the part that the pedals attach to. I took the pedal mount off, drilled through where the bolts went and bolted it to the base so the chair is adjustable back and forward.
If you have tools and space to put it you could build it for about £45-£50
Mine has been demoted to the bedroom
Need a bigger house then i can have a propper gaming room. It might happen lol

Re: My Racing Simulator
I keep mine right in my room. I find the playseat is a lot stiffer if you really crank the knobs down.

Re: My Racing Simulator
I had mine pretty tight.
Bought it 2nd hand though and never had the propper pedal mount for the clubsports and it made it feel really bad.
Better with a full mdf frame. I just need to spend some time practicing on it
