WOBBLE BOX PRACTICE SESSION- 15-4-2013@9PM BST
The WobbleBoxes Season 2 will be starting on Monday 29th April 9pm BST - 3pm EDT - 12pm PDT and will consist of 2 races(one sprint, one feature race) over 8 rounds. This is one of XPLR's jewels as far as Championships go. The cars being used in this championship are:
FORD KA
NISSAN MICRA
PEUGEOT 107
TOYOTA AYGO
VAUXHALL AGILA
CITREON C1
All cars are in C class and range from 401 to 417pi but are great fun to drive and very close as always. All cars will have a FIXED BUILD for the whole season. (The C.O reserves the right to apply changes if needed at any point within reason)
There will be a Public Practice lobby open on the 15th April between 9 -10:30pm. I have made the builds available on my storefront. If you want the open builds/tunes, please ask. Hope to see you there.

May have to sign up for this! I didn't get to do season 1 because they were on a Friday or something. Hated I missed them as people seemed to really love this series.
I posted the link over on the CQR site so maybe a few of the guys will come check it out.

Re: WOBBLE BOX PRACTICE SESSION- 15-4-2013@9PM BST
best tip i can give it keep it smooth. Brake a little earlier and carry the speed through the corners,,dont scrubb it off with the tyres or understeering/oversteering. If you can hear the tyres complaining then ur not taking the full speed through with ya.
am no great racer myself but if you want am more than happy to follow you round for some laps and see if i can help give any pointers.
Also,,i take it ur using the clutch and the like? what assists do u use? are u on a pad or wheel? all these factors play a part too
Greg

Re: WOBBLE BOX PRACTICE SESSION- 15-4-2013@9PM BST
No assists
And i have a wheel but it depends what time of day it is as the wheel can be a bit loud so probably the controller.
Daughter goes to bed about 730 so cant use the wheel after then
Ill upload a pic of my race setup when i get back from work.
It is a lot easier to reduce the wheel slippage when your on the wheel compared with a controller.

We will hook up over the next few days and have a run around ot see where ur at,,,,u might end up being quicker than me and if its the case i intend to pick up tips from you instead,,lol

Ill get the pics uploaded tonight.
And having young kids about you know better than to wake them once there asleep lol.
Shes only 3 but once shes old enough ill get her into racing then ill be learning from her lol.
If you look for ricmotec rs1. I built a rig like that with the fanatec 911 turbos wheel. Clubsport pedals. 6 speed gearbox and added a handbrake from a honda s2000
For pc gaming (dont have the best pc for gaming) im building a dashboard with dials and buttons. Took ages so far but its slowly getting there lol

lol, yeah I cant wait to get going. Should be a good laugh tonight and also gives us the perfect opportunity to see if any car needs clipping or aiding a bit more before the series actually starts.
