Round 2 Stories!

How'd your second race of XBR's Seat Leon's go? I had a good first race held my starting position while trying to compete with Venom for 4th. Second race I took a knock in the first lap which give me 30% rear aero I managed to hold on to 6th and had a great view of the 3 cars in front battling to the finish line!

First of all i was suprised to qualify 3rd as i only put in 5 quick practice laps beforehand where i stiffened up the car from last week and hoped for the best.

Race 1 - started 3rd and just held position until nightmare/eggy and myself built up a fairly comfortable lead. I wasn't getting a good run out of the last corner so never really put eggy under any pressure

Race 2 - Battled for the first 4 or so laps where i think i made a position or two but got stuck behind venom i think until the pit window. Managed take a few positions during the pit window as i ran a bit quicker in the clean air and after getting past soundwave i settled into 2nd with deano 4 seconds ahead just got into a rhythm for the last 10 or so laps. Race 2 was far more enjoyable for me and had some rubbing along the way but it was never going to be a track for really clean passes.

Overall it was a good week for the team championship.

first race was a disaster, followed hereforth into the first corner who broke much earlier than i would and caught me out, after that i had full aero damage and although i manged to catch the pack up there was no way i could challenge with reduced straight line speed

second race i was on pole, left everyone standing and won by a good 7 seconds... so pretty boring, but nice to win

may i add that there were a lot of pit infringements last night, please can everyone remember to practice pitting before the event, and also remember to notify others that you are pitting with enough notice that you don't cause a dangerous situation

I had a lot of fun yesterday!
First race i did a good start and got from 7 to 4, alot beacuse andy and another guy crashed. After that i shased Doc for about 9 laps befor i could take him. The problem was that i had alot of downforce on my car and no speed at the straight so of course he took me on the straght every time i tried to get passed. This happend to the end of the race. We did get company from DK to on the end of race 1.

Race 2. I did a good start again from 7 to 3 then i hunted down 2 place and took it on lap 4 or 5 i think. Then it was just straight line to the finish after 7 seconds after andy and 4 seconds befor DK.

I couldnt get in gutted

this was probably one of my favorite races ive competed in. R1 kind of made a few mistakes and got away from the top pack so i just hotlapped with mad dog for awhile to finish 4th. R2 had some close racing and im not sure on the laps but it seemed like the last 10 or so laps XBR Speedy and Nightmare were no further than 100 feet apart with me stuck in the middle and only minimal bumps and bruises happened. great driving on your guys part. thanks for an exciting race. on to next week should be fun.

I had a nightmare first race. sat comfy behind mad dog in 6th until I hit the wall pushin too hard on the last corner. 2nd race, I knew i had to go for it into the 1st corner and managed to put XPR Soundwave under pressure which made him go wide. After that it was 27 laps of 54.6's N 7's. Good one two for Blind Reverand Racing.

not being drunk for the race really helped me out.
