Re: Round 6 - Silverstone National - 28th August - Sign In
I'm going to have to resign from this championship. Â The patch 3.0 that dropped last night is causing me even more setup issues than before. Â I still cant save my setups but now my tune goes back to default in between sessions (warmup to race) etc and also whenever I enter the pits.
Cheers for the great racing, I've enjoyed these Clio's on a Friday night and I'll join some championships on Forza 6 later in the year.

Unless someone has a sort for me I'll be out too. It remembers my tunes but won't recognize my wheel anymore.

Guys,,
I fear we are going ot have to postpone this weeks round. Patch 3.0 has pretty much screwed it for wheel users....the game feels alien to say the least....very annoyed does not cover it...i had high high hopes for this patch but its just ruined it.
Would you mind if we pushed back this week so that wheel users can get a chance to get ontop of the new setup please? as its nearly undriveable now.
Sorry again....was looking forward to my Friday fix

Once I got my wheel recognized. It felt ok but I did notice that the gearing is not adjustable anymore

disappointing to see the race postponed without any messages to drivers that may have been sitting waiting for invites as nothing official was announced about postponement.
the new patch has changed only a few things, wheel settings have not changed,FFB may have changed a little but its the car tunes that have, they have now changed it so that you can only tune to a range officially allowed in the real life series, any old tunes will no longer work, the gearing has been set to what it is in the real series.
The series should have been continued as we are all in the same boat and the race would still have been good, also there is a dropped round for those that had a mare.

update screwed us all over again but nawt new there, now with the fixed box setting 103's are not even close ive lost almost a second a lap now, but I gues the saving grace is its the same for everyone
when viewing in monitoe what your oponents teletry is its giving incorrect info, we tested it last night with me saying what my tyre pressures were through my on screen teletry and it wasn't even close to what dan was seing on his screen, so I wouldn't try adjusting your set up to what you see others running at, the fuel usage per lap / disctance is very conservative to say the least

D4ninho appologies that messages were not sent on XBLIVE
Re: Round 6 - Silverstone National - 28th August - Sign In
Morning all.
It was my call to postpone. I felt that the risk of further undiscovered changes in peoples settings, tunes, even game stability were a risk and I did not want to run into major hassles, so i decided to post and postpone.....the update was downloaded only a short time before the round was due to start and i feared the worse....if i got it wrong i will hang my head and appologies of course.....but i felt it the right thing to do at the time.
Truth be told I have been so annoyed I have not switched my xbox on since Friday....but form what you guys are saying its not as bad as I feared....so if i cocked up anyones night am sorry and responsible for it.
we will be running it next week,,,come hell or high water.....i missed being on track with you chaps and just want to race if am honest.
But sorry again if i was over fearful of the patch changes....as i say it was a borderline call....that if folks feel i got wrong am happy to stick my hand up as the culprit.
Greg
And if am also honest due to being on the wheel which makes sending messages a pain,,,i just posted in the site...in the future,,,if i am hosting and run into issues,,i will message on XBL....sorry if anyone was left hanging.
