CTCC Season 1- Rules & Regulations
GENERAL SERIES RULES
The season will run for 6 weeks, every FRIDAY @23:30pm GMT/7:30pm EDT/6:30pm CDT/5:30pm MDT/4:30pm PDT(approx), Starting 17 January 2014.
There will be a Drivers Championship, Privateers Championship, Manufactures Championship and a Team Championship.
CAR RULES
The series will consist of two classes to compete in.
B Spec Builds can be found here. Will run a 40% power handicap to replicate real life horsepower used in actual series.
Super Touring Builds can be found here.
The builds are FIXED (if it's not listed, it's not available)
There will also be car caps to ensure all cars will be used.
B Spec will have a 3 car car cap.
Super Touring will have a 2 car car cap.
Car caps are per team/privateer (so each team entry is one car allocation)
First come, first serve basis. Cars can be changed before start of race 1 as many times as possible as long as its available, so choose wisely. When you complete your first race, you are locked in that car until seasons end.
TEAM RULES
Cars will be capped at two cars unless an abundance of sign ups register to ensure most cars will be used, including privateers and teams.
Teams must consist of at least 2 drivers and use the same car.
Teams must use the same paint scheme.
All XPLR CTCC Numberboards and vinyls must be used
One drop score will be allowed in this series.
QUALIFICATION RULES
For this series there will be three qualifying sessions. First session will be Wednesday, 8pm GMT for EU drivers, 930pm EST for US drivers and a final session before the race on Fridays at 7:30pm EST. Each driver can only qualify once, times will be recorded but not shown until final session is over. You must sign up for one of the sessions in the qualifying thread.
You will receive an invite for your qualification lobby. Once in the lobby, 7 laps will be on the screen. Pick your car. If you cannot choose your car, you have the wrong build spec. Lap 1 must be uncertified, laps 2,3,4,5 and 6 are your HOT LAPS. Stop at first corner on 7th lap so the lobby host can take down your time. These will then be put will the other times and you'll then receive you RACE invite shortly afterwards. Collisions will be set to off. Laps must be verified. All un-verified laps automatically go the the back.
RACE RULES
Rolling starts will be used for this series. During parade lap we will get into the qualifying positions with Super Touring class in the front. B Spec will follow roughly 100 feet behind the ST class to ensure no jumps by a Bspec driver can get in the way of a ST driver in first turn. Drivers from the same class can stay within 25 feet from the guy in front of him. The speed that will need to be maintained once grid is set is 45 mph, once the field is ready the overall pole sitter in ST class will call the start with a GO GO GO loud and clear as possible at any time before the start/finish line.
Race 1 grid order will be taken from the qualification times. The quickest being at the front. Race 2 will be half of lobby +1 per class reversed finishing order from race 1. For example, if 8 super touring cars and 6 b spec cars in one lobby. then top 5 of super touring class will be reversed and top 4 b spec cars will be reversed. Both races will be a rolling start. Damage will be set to LIMITED. All assists can be used excluding auto brake.
POINTS
Each round will be scored at 100 points for the winner, with a 2 point demotion for each position thereafter.
Pole position at each event in each class will score 2 bonus points.

Re: CTCC Season 1- Rules & Regulations
Where can I find in the Rules that ABS braking and Traction Control are not allowed?
Here is what I found in the XPLR Championship racing rules.
Driving Aids and Lobby Settings
1. All championships unless otherwise stated will allow the use of any driving aids excluding auto brake.
2. Drivers can choose full selection of automatic/manual/manual w/clutch gearbox options.
3. All championships are run with limited damage with collisions set to on unless specified in the competition rules.

Re: CTCC Season 1- Rules & Regulations
Thank you, Andy.
I do not need Traction Control on AWD and FWD, but without ABS my engine shuts off for a second or two on hairpins or excessive braking.
The MS racing wheel is not suited for non ABS braking.

Unless it's stated in the competition rules, all XPLR rules should be applied - TCS & ABS are available
