If i had an oxy welder i would chief, trust me,,lol. But truth be told i cant be assed with the messin around. I just wanna get it,,put the bits on it and job done.
The seat wont happen for a few months though, so i have time to think. Am more than happy with my current seat setup, but the race seat is just moving it up a level
I heard ur setup is gonna be nice when its done,,any pics yet?
Greg

Re: to CSR or not to CSR that is the question...
im looking at both csr forza wheels but 500 rubs is steep, is the cheaper one better than xbox360 wheel. At 200 its cheaper but not cheap! dont want to replace my 360 wheel and end up with no benefit, would rather by the elite badboy if its worth it.
Also, is it going to be compatable with the new xbox? any ideas.

The csr is better than the elite, the elite also seems to suffer with more technical issues, the pedals are in a different league to the ms ones
Re: to CSR or not to CSR that is the question...
After loosing the back end of the BMW 1M and Z8 far more times than i would like to recall, and thinking it was the car set-up. It turns out the CSR's wheel settings were totally pants. The wheel settings for a Fanatec Forum created an over reaction when trying to catch a slide and the wheel to wobble.
I Mucked about with it myself and have now sorted the wheel settings to suit me and hey presto, no more uncontrollable slides and the whip effect. The wheel and pedals are great but the wheel can cause an headache at times. Hopefully from now on my back end will be in a straight line!!

I take it u had a positive drift value and a negative spring rate to balance it?
I run my one on 270 degree, 70 ff, 70 abs, acl on and the rest all at zero or off' gives me a nice feedback from the wheel and keeps the back end tight on rwd cars

ill put your settings on memory 2 and try them out. i use 420 degree 90-100 FF but 85% FF on the forza menu. ill work out what iv got and post it later on. I keep ready about firmware update but i don't know if this applies to my wheel or whether its already installed, as its second hand.
cheers Greg ill give them a go
